Ingredients:
- 220g Plain Flour
- Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 560ml Milk
- Butter
- Lemon Juice
- Sugar
This makes enough for 8 to 9 pancakes.
Recipe:
Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl, add the pinch of salt and break the egg in. Work the egg into the flour with a wooden spoon.
Add the milk in bit by bit until the batter is thin enough to beat well. Then beat this with everything you have. The more you beat here, the better the pancakes will be. Once this has reached a nice consistency, beat in the rest of the milk.
Now your batter is finished. You can leave it in the fridge or you can use it right away.
To cook pancakes, get a frying pan and warm it up on the hob. Once it has gotten to a good temperature, melt some butter in the pan and then add the batter. Pour in just enough batter to cover the pan thinly. Fry quickly on both sides. I recommend using a spatula but you can try and use a quick flick of the wrist to flip the pancake. Good luck with that.
Once its cooked, flip it onto a plate. Drizzle some lemon juice and sugar onto it and wrap it up. Now taste the deliciousness that is pancakes.
