Ingredients:
- Eggs
- Slices of Bread
Recipe:
Put the eggs to one side and wait until they are at room temperature. The warmer the eggs are, the less likely they will break open and be ruined when we start cooking.
Half fill a saucepan with water and boil it over a hob. Leave it simmering.
Now gradually add each egg gently, being careful not to break them. Bring the water back to simmering if needed.
For soft boiled eggs leave them in for 4 and a half minutes. For hard boiled eggs leave them in for 6 minutes.
Now enjoy these eggs. I like to eat these with buttered toast cut in lengths like soldiers for dipping.
Special thanks to Dad for coming up with this great recipe.
